The Obama administration has jettisoned the "Global War on Terror" tag for the fight against terrorism and adopted a new description: "Overseas Contingency Operations." Wow, that really packs a punch, doesn't it? Was "foreign frolic" unavailable?
The news starting me thinking about appropriate descriptions of the Obama administration. I think one accurate prhase for Obama's staff and cabinet might be "[C]ollection of [L]eftists [U]nderminding [E]fficiency, [L]iberty, [E]ducation, [S]ecurity and [S]ociety" or CLUELESS. A description of the administration in toto might be, "[T]yrannical [R]egrime [A]ttacking [I]ndividuality, [T]radition,
[O]rder, [R]eligion and [S]anity," or TRAITORS. So, my tagline for the Obama administration - CLUELESS TRAITORS.

The Obama administration is clueless about the ultimate damage their policies will do to America, but I do believe that the president is not unhappy with the continuing climate of disquietude in hte country. An angry and frightened public assists the administration in its goal of refashioning the United States into the socialist utopia. A great stir arose when Rush Limbaugh stated that he hoped Obama failed; folks, Obama hopes that we fail. Obama wants the free market to fail so he can convince the the public to abandon capitalism and embrance statism. He wants us desperate, angry, ready to accept his faux palliatives. As I've written before, in Obama Americans have elected the first president in our history who doesn't like the country he was elected to lead, and whose ultimate objective is to remake it into one more acceptable to his taste.

We also have a president with a natural tolitalitarian impulse. For a politician, Obama is remarkably impatient with opposition or even the occasional hard question. His natural impulse is the attack, the ginning up of the mob to drown out and intimidate anyone so silly as to speak against Der Leader. So far opposition to Obama such as it has been, has primarily been conservative talk radio and the stray Republican office holder who didn't get the memo to make nice. How will Der Leader react to actual criticism and opposition? I suspect it will be ugly.
